Issues and Interconnectedness
We are going to spend some time discussing our capstone issues and the idea of interconnectedness. Please respond to the prompts below.

6. If students don't understand, for example, the math in one grade, they probably won't understand it in the next because a lot of subjected build on themselves.

ReplyDeleteMy issue is children not being able to learn guitar at the middle school. The students are affected(sad). At the middle school(and many other schools). It occurs by teachers not teaching the kids how to play guitar. This issue goes on everywhere and not just with guitar. It happens with tons of types of musical instruments. Music, I believe, is very very important in a students education.

3) It occurs every in Forster homes.
4) It occurs when they are given up because their pedants can't take care of them and then don't get adopted when they are young so they feel like no body loves them.
5) Um issues are related because it happens to more then one kid.. I guess??

My issue is that there are people that do drugs in the world. Maybe there aren't people that do drugs at ASU but at this point I am considering this a starting point? Maybe the family of the drug addict is being effected. This occurs everywhere unfortunatly. It occurs by a bad influence or family problems. There are many factors, to many to list. Like the economy, or family troubles. There are patterns like not finishing jobs, or quitting work. Maybe the economy, paying for people that can't get jobs because of the drug testing or lack of focus.

ReplyDeleteMy issue at hand is the lack of appreciation that younger children have for literature. Young children are taught what to read according to their levels and in some cases, ages. Children that are not exposed to literature have a harder time connecting stories today with stories in the past. Shakespeare's plays feature universal truths and principles that can still applied today. By helping a small group of students now, they can possibly be inspired to teach others in the future.

ReplyDelete1. That children and teens that are raised in a bad environment, get abused annd don't know what to do, so they don't know of how to take care of themselves and need someone to trust, to help them with responsibility

4. From the parents/ guardians not taking care of the teens children from what is happening, and also if they abuse them that is from them
5. It would be related by that issues later on could cause criminal records, and all different complications that would keep on making the spider's web
6. Having a parent that abusing the child will have the child grow up believing that is the only way to teach people when they do wrong, or when your parent is a drug addict then the kid will grow up like that and will not it is wrong.
7. This goes with the local/global murders, and lead to terrorists, and also to big time robbers/thieves and the rates of crimes go up.

ReplyDeleteMy issue is animal abuse. The animals are obviously the ones affected by this issue. It can occur anywhere. It happens in people's homes, on the street, and in farms and factories that use animals. Abuse can happen in many different ways. Some examples are beating an animal, not feeding them, abandoning them in a box on the side of a road(or just abandoning them anywhere). The role my issue has is that it affects the global population of animals on our planet. Animal abuse is helping to dwindle the different species of animals to extinction.

The issue is how golf equipment and the golf swing help and hurt each other. This issue is affecting golfers, golf teachers, and golf equipment suppliers. This issue occurs on the golf course. It occurs because of physics against the golfers body and they golf equipment. These issues are related to STEM and physics because they have to do with math and physics. The patterns that are visible are that it is related to math and science always. This plays a role into helping kids have patience and creating a new step into the world of golf.
