  3. It took that guy a ton of guts to dance like that in public.
It made people laugh or smile or even dance with him.
'Let go, have fun, show you really are happy and have that emotion.'

  5. I thought that the video was awesome. It showed someone not afraid to do what he wanted and it brought people together. It showed that no matter what race or culture you are that we all share some common language and that we can always connect with one another.
The second one about empathy or whatever I think that culture is more important on affecting empathy. I think that empathy and someone's personality are all based off what they believe and practice not what DNA or blood they have.

  6. I thought the dancing video was really cool because the guy looked like he was having a lot of fun.(: I didn't really get a message from it..
I think empathy is both cultural and genetic. I think they both play a part, but I think it's mostly genetic.

  7. The dancing video was really great, and the science video was very interesting!

The dancing video was super fun! It was inspiring, and showed a fun thing to do when traveling! Plus, those who chose to participate got to let their freak flag fly! ;)

The science video was interesting because it makes us, as students, realize social ques and be more aware of our surroundings. Empathy is very important throughout life, and if we had an empathy gene we could teach those who don't have one and help them!

  8. I loved the dancing video. It seemed like he was trying to give a message of unity and familiarity: in all the different places, people came together to do silly dances. It was fun to watch, with the music and the look on people's faces as they did kind of funny-looking moves in public. People dancing in the classroom added to it a little bit!

I think it might be both cultural and genetic? When you grow up somewhere, you tend to think of the things around you as more normal than different things somewhere else. That's not always true, though, and a lot of it comes from inside of us, too. Everyone has their own personality which belongs just to them. But they can learn things from outside which can slightly change them. That means we can learn from our mistakes and grow as people.
    I hope that makes sense.

  9. I think the message crossed as, no matter the country, stress, or race you are you can still have fun where ever you go.

I think empathy is culture because our genes dont have much to do with our fellings and society. I think

    Mellow!

  10. I really loved the video with the dancing people in it. It made me smile and laugh. I think that the message was that even though we are all different(culture, hobbies, were you live, features, etc.) we are all still alike in certain ways. And like Tresa said, we all do have something in common......=D

  13. I think the purpose of the dancing video was to show how people could have fun with complete strangers in any location. Also, it shows how simply dancing can make people happy. Empathy is genetic but the way we convey it does depend on our culture. Both are equally important.

  14. I thought it was a cool way to go Dan e around the world incorporating the world and the people. Also the dancing showed that we as a world can all get along and we can all have fun together no matter what. It conveyed the message that we are all one in the same no matter what happens!

  15. The dancing was cool and it looked kind of like the the improv every where on the TED Talks. The science audio sounded like a radio station my mother and I listen to.

  16. Going out and dancing would be hard to do, and what I mean by is that I would have a hard time dancing out in public not knowing what people will do, if they would get upset or dance along or even just look at me as if I was insane. Though even if it was hard it brings hope, fun, and love for the people, I would've loved to have seen him dance, and join in with him; that showed leadership.

With the empathy visor I thought that it was interesting that they believe it is genes that is the cause of empathy, and that it depends on the person. In some ways I can see this, since I know someone that is very emotional yet their parents aren't even that type. I already knew that it had to deal with also the type of culture the person is raised, since I have seen this first hand.
